[영어회화 준비] 술/음주에 대해 이야기하기

오늘은 술과 관련된 표현들에 대해 다뤄보고자 합니다. 

 

처음 만난 사람과 캐주얼한 대화를 할 때 술이 빠지기가 어려운데요. 술과 관련된 단어를 먼저 알아볼까요? 

와인이나 맥주에 대한 단어를 모아봤습니다. 

 

[단어 모음] 

• 술 - alcohol, alcoholic drinks
• 발효된 - fermented 
• 지역 맥주 양조장 - local breweries
• 포도주 양조장 - winery 
• 도수 - alcohol concentration / alcohol content levels 
• 건배하다 - toast 

Wine's alcohol concentration varies from 12 to 15%

와인의 도수는 12%에서 15%사이이다. 

 

Beer is divided into two types: ale or lager

맥주는 에일과 라거로 나뉜다.

 

It is said that red wine goes with a steak and white wine goes with fish

보통 레드와인은 고기와 잘 어울리고 화이트와인은 생선과 잘 어울린다고들 한다.

*술 이름들은 발음을 한번씩 다 들어보면 좋을 것 같습니다. 

 

- 맥주 (에일) 종류 이름: 
  pale ale, IPA (India Pale Ale), Bizen, and Stout. Dunkel, pale lager, and pilsner

 

- 레드 와인 종류 이름: 

  Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Malbec,

 

- 화이트 와인 종류 이름: 

  Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Semillon

주량이 어떻게 되니

난 술을 잘 못마셔 

 

그리고 술 마시고 얼굴이 붉어지는 현상이 동양인들한테 많다고 하여
